Frequently Asked Questions

  • Fine line tattoos are designed to be soft and delicate, which means they naturally heal lighter than bolder traditional styles. They fade like any other tattoo, it’s just a bit more noticeable as they are already lighter to begin with.

When done correctly, they age beautifully, but they do require:

    • Proper aftercare

    • Sun protection

    • Thoughtful placement

I tattoo with longevity in mind, while still keeping a soft, delicate look to my work.

  • While I will never say no to the use of numbing cream, I generally do recommend against it. Numbing cream can affect how your skin takes ink. With a fine line tattoo, a small amount of ink is being deposited into the skin so the change of texture can make it harder for the ink to penetrate cleanly & evenly. Potentially resulting in a patchy heal.

If you do choose to use numbing cream, please discuss this with me beforehand.
