Frequently Asked Questions

Fine line tattoos are designed to be soft and delicate, which means they naturally heal lighter than bolder traditional styles. They fade like any other tattoo, it’s just a bit more noticeable as they are already lighter to begin with.
When done correctly, they age beautifully, but they do require:
Proper aftercare
Sun protection
Thoughtful placement
I tattoo with longevity in mind, while still keeping a soft, delicate look to my work.

While I will never say no to the use of numbing cream, I generally do recommend against it. Numbing cream can affect how your skin takes ink. With a fine line tattoo, a small amount of ink is being deposited into the skin so the change of texture can make it harder for the ink to penetrate cleanly & evenly. Potentially resulting in a patchy heal.
If you do choose to use numbing cream, please discuss this with me beforehand.
